We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2023 FTDM hybrid event at the Peppermill earlier this month! It was wonderful to meet people in-person, and to collaborate on such a range of important topics. I would like to personally thank the NDE Team who made the conference possible—it was a lot of hard work, and the end-result was phenomenal!

We are in March, which is the beginning of the fourth quarter of our fiscal year! We would like to remind you to continue the timely spend-down of funds. It is a best practice of both USED and NDE to expend the funding allocated in the year in which it was awarded. While many programs allow for carryover, carryover funding should only be used to finish projects approved in the Funding Application for which the funding was also approved (that is, carryover is not to be used as a “rainy day” account, but, rather, to finish projects that could not be completed during the funding year in which it was allocated). Please check in with your EPPs to see where your current spend-down levels are.

Applications for US entitlement grants (formerly called the “Consolidated Application”) are now available in ePAGE! Please reach out to your EPP or GMU Analyst with questions as you work through the application.
