The Nevada Department of Education Foster Care webpage is designed to inform interested stakeholders of important foster care information related to education. Here you can access point of contact information at both the Local Education Agency (LEA) and state level. Additionally, in an effort to keep stakeholders up to date, federal and state law information can be accessed through this page. With new laws and regulations helping to spotlight both the needs and rights of students in foster care it is the Department of Education’s mission to offer up to date information and resources to stakeholders in need of such information.
